Description
The Lennox 12L43 is a Hot Surface Ignitor which is an HVAC replacement part. It is a small, thin, cylindrical device usually constructed of aluminum. This ignitor produces a spark during the heating cycle of the furnace, to light the gas burner. It is 3-11/16″ long and 5/16″ thick, it is powered by a standard 12-volt electrical connection. An ignitor that has a problem can cause the furnace not to ignite correctly. Replacing a faulty ignitor with a new ignitor makes the heating system functional, warm, and comfortable during cold weather.
