Description
Honeywell V88A1675 1” Diaphragm Gas Valve is used for the on/off control of the flow of gas in HVAC appliances. The unit operates at 24 V and can produce pressure up to 1 PSI. When there is voltage activity the valve is in its opened position to allow the gas to go to the burner but when there is no voltage the valve is closed and therefore no gas flows. This valve is applied in furnace, boiler, and water heater services. The appliance can be easily disconnected from the gas supply hence removing leakages when the appliance is not in use and the flow of gas and therefore the rate of combustion can also be controlled.
