The Utica-Dunkirk 240007051 Direct Spark Ignitor is designed to give gas-fired HVAC systems the ignition performance fast and consistent burner ignition. It starts working through the process of creating a high voltage spark, which directly ignites the gas. The ignitor does not have a pilot light and instead usedes the direct spark ignition system to make the ignition process faster and efficient. This includes less maintenance requirements, faster ignition response, and increased efficiency through the removal of standing pilot systems.
