Description
The Trane SWT2520 is a Pressure Switch made in a single-pole single-throw and is designed exclusively for Trane HVAC equipment including furnaces and air handlers. The 4.25” long instrument utilizes a quick-connect terminal to install as a system air pressure gauge. It turns on or off electrical circuits depending on the air pressure and is set to a specific level, 1.29 inches of water column. This is for several furnace activities such as observing the flow sequences, starting up safety shutdown in cases of higher pressure build-up, and controlling the burners. This helps the safe, efficient, and consistently reliable running of the building’s HVAC systems by maintaining proper pressure.
