The Trane MOT9587 is a 1/2 horsepower Blower Motor of open style that is used in residential as well as commercial applications in HVAC systems. However, unlike enclosed motors, this design provides easier access to the motor for cleaning as well as for maintenance purposes. This motor is intended to move air around the system and is not intended for any other purpose. The internal structure of the motor contains a shaft and ball bearings When energized, the shaft and bearings turn clockwise or counterclockwise at 1410 RPM.
