Description
The Trane KIT1165 Roto-Lock is a pipe fitting for use in HVAC systems designed for use with copper tubes. It has a 7/8″ connection size and makes a safe and leakproof connection between two copper tubes of different diameters from 1.25″ to 12″. The Roto-Lock’s compression design compresses a gasket around the inserted tubes with a nut and sleeve to create a tight seal. This design eliminates the need for brazing or soldering and reduces the risk of fire hazards associated with open flame procedures while simplifying installation. Trane Roto-Locks are often used when joining copper tubes of different sizes in air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems.
