Description
With the Thames & Kosmos Windbots 6-in-1 Wind Powered Machine Kit, students get to learn about one of the oldest power sources in the world: wind! The full-color illustrated manual instructs students, step-by-step, in building six different models from the 212 included pieces – all without any batteries or electricity!
- Big-Wheel Tricycle
- Quadruped
- Soaring Machine
- Drilling Monster
- Walking Robot
- Wind-Powered Yacht
To give the models their wind mobility, children will also build a hand-powered wind generator and learn about how gears transmit power and torque. When building, pieces easily snap together so there’s no need for messy glue or other adhesives, making this activity perfect for young learners.
