Description
The Schneider Electric (Barber Colman) MC-421 is a two-position motor control that can be used in a variety of HVAC applications, such as rooftop units, air handlers, and fan coil units. It has an integrated 180-second timer and a manual override switch for flexible control. It runs on a 120-volt motor. The MC-421 automatically turns off the linked motor after energizing it for 180 seconds while it is powered on. Applications needing regulated ventilation cycles or damper actuation are perfect for this timed operation. When conditions call for constant airflow, the manual override switch that comes with the device enables continuous motor running instead of using the timed feature. Enhanced energy efficiency, accurate regulation of airflow or fluid flow, and dependable functioning are among its advantages, which enhance comfort and reduce energy consumption in diverse HVAC applications.
