The Rheem Ruud 60-102787-85 Modulating Natural Gas Valve 1/2″ HSI/DSI is an exceptionally technical part, which has its major uses in fine control applications within HVAC systems and, more basically, in furnaces and boilers using natural gas. Functionally, it is compatible with systems running on Hot Surface Ignition and Direct Spark Ignition systems. It controls the flow of natural gas based upon signals from the thermostat or control board and regulates the burner output to meet the heating requirements.
