This lug-type butterfly valve provides bi-directional dead-end service without a downstream flange, and bubble-tight shutoff at 232 psi to meet today’s higher pressure demands. The valve performs well in isolation and throttling applications, commercial, some light industrial process, and a range of chemical applications. This NIBCO ductile iron butterfly valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90°) open to close. The unique NBR molded-in seat liner with aluminum bronze disc is recommended for the higher pressure requirements of commercial HVAC systems today. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
