Description
The Johnson Controls VG1245AF is a 2-way ball valve for controlling hot and chilled water flow in HVAC systems with closed loop. It has a forged brass body for strength and a 316 stainless steel ball for wear to those applications that require a lot of work. The VG1245AF has a small footprint and full-port design to reduce flow restriction and has a Cv of 2.9, which enables high flow rate with accurate pressure regulation. In use, the handle of the valve turns a ball inside the valve body to control the flow of water. A quarter turn of the handle places the ball in a position for full flow or complete blockage. This basic design provides leak-tight shut-off and makes the valve quite easy to use.
