Description
The Honeywell V8943C1018 1-inch, 24-volt slow-opening, single-stage LP gas valve is usually used in residential and light commercial heating applications. This gas valve regulates the flow of gas passing to the burner because it opens gradually to avoid full pressure. They work hand in hand with a thermostat or other control system as far as controlling the flow of gas to the appliance is concerned to enable the required temperature to be attained. The slow-opening feature also reduces the likelihood of system damage and therefore increases safety.
