The Carrier HC39CE231 is a single phase PSC blower motor used in different HVAC equipment mostly in furnaces and air handling units. A PSC motor utilizes a capacitor to divide the single phase power into two out-of-phase currents hence producing a rotating magnetic field to initiate and maintain the motor operation. The motor is designed to run on a variety of voltage levels of 115/230/277 volts, thus making it suitable for most electrical systems. It provides a horsepower of 1/4 HP, which is enough for circulating air in residential HVAC systems. It features a motor speed of 1050 RPMs that ensures you receive adequate airflow around the ducts.
