Description
The Carrier HC24AU600 is a combustion blower motor that is 1/16 horsepower and 115 volts. This electric motor is used in many Carrier gas furnaces and most probably it is used to blow air into the combustion chambers. This air supply is required for the better fuel combustion as well as heating function. This has a thermal overload protection that resets automatically to prevent overheating and it turns in an anti-clockwise direction at 3000 RPM. This motor also plays a significant role in the provision of a constant stream of air for combustion, thus wattage gives reliability in the operation of the furnaces.
