Description
The Carrier 50DP506044 Indoor Fan Shaft is a steel elongated rod with a threaded screw at each end and acts as the strength to the fan assembly. The fan shaft rotates within a housing and the blades fixed to the shaft provide a means to drive air around a building. In particular, the shaft is designed to create a specified center spin for the fan to minimize wobble or unequal distribution from the blade systems. The double-wall construction of the shaft is ideal in providing the necessary strength to accommodate all the fans and all the componentry is rigidly mounted for operational use.
