Description
The Belimo FSNF120-FC is a spring-return actuator designed to control fire and smoke dampers in HVAC systems. With its two-position operation and 120-volt AC power supply, it can normally manage the damper blade between its open and closed positions. The pre-mounted closed position of this fail-safe actuator guarantees that the damper stays closed in its initial state. The actuator’s internal spring is tensed in response to a signal, which moves the damper blade to the opposite position. By automatically closing fire and smoke dampers in response to fire alarms or smoke detection, this system plays a critical part in preserving building safety by halting the spread of smoke and flames throughout the ducting.
