Description
The Belimo B212B 2-way characterized control valve is designed for efficient flow regulation in HVAC systems. This valve is sized at 1/2″ and is chrome plated brass with a flow coefficient of 3.0 for use with chilled or hot water and up to 60% glycol. A unique characterizing disc is used to operate the valve to achieve an equal percentage flow characteristic so that the valve opens with a precise control and stability in thermal output. It reduces the energy consumption and increases the life of the actuator and the valve by preventing control loop hunting. Reliable performance is common applications include air handling units, fan coil units and variable air volume systems.
