The Amana-Goodman 20046609S 1/2 horsepower blower motor is intended for use in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This motor rotates at 1115 RPM with 115V/1PH power supply to deliver adequate flow rates for heating and cooling. The motor mainly works to turn the blower wheel within the heating/cooling system of the building. When powered the motor rotates a shaft which through a series of gears transmits mechanical energy to the blower wheel. These spinning motion forms pressure difference that sucks the air from the return air vents and blows the same through the system ducting.
