Description
The Trane VAL6994 is a 2.4″ long safety device that is a pressure relief valve. It is necessary to protect the HVAC system from being damaged by high-pressure buildup. It is used at maximum pressures of 450 psi and temperatures no than 300°F while remaining within safety limits. There is a 1/2″ Male Pipe Thread connection on the intake side for a secure connection to the piping system. They have a 5/8′ flare connection and are a perfect option for attaching many other parts. The Trane is meant to be the safety release mechanism.
