The Trane KIT16582 is an inducer conversion kit, a complete set of components that are aimed at enhancing the performance of the inducer assemblies in some of the Trane furnaces. These systems use inducers which are essential in ballooning combustion gases as well as drawing fresh air for burning purposes. Eventually, there is a problem with inducer motors, igniters and other parts, or they are no longer compatible with newer furnaces. The Trane KIT16582 solves this problem by offering replacement parts that are intended to fit and operate in conjunction with selected Trane furnaces. This kit usually contains a new inducer blower motor, igniter, limit switch, interface control module and a wire harness.
