Description
The Carrier HT680056 is a Transformer made for HVAC equipment only. It plays an essentialrole in providing the correct and safe voltage to the electrical components. In particular, it serves the function of a step-down transformer. This step changes high voltage, normally 120 VAC to low voltage known as 24VAC required to pump control circuits and other low voltage circuits in the Carrier HVAC system. Electronically it works at 50/60 hertz to match most electrical grids with a rating of 40 VA meaning its power rating.
