Description
The Johnson Controls VG7842GT is a 3-way mixing valve body that is used to modulate temperature in the HVAC system. The valve body controls the flow of hot and chilled water, or even a 50/50 glycol solution, in a direct mix. This results in the proper management of heating and cooling processes. It is a small actuator with a 1/2” size and has a CV rating of 4.6, which makes it ideal for small HVAC systems. The functions are by responding to signals from a controller. At times it regulates a body’s internal passages to make hot and/or cold fluids reach a desired blended temperature. Such control enables the maintenance of comfortable levels and concurrently maintains a measure of control over the energy used in buildings.
