The Johnson Controls VG1241AG is a 2 way Ball valve used in controlling the flow of fluids mostly in HVAC systems. It has a brass body that is compact and makes it durable. The valve is provided with a threaded NPT connection for direct fit into existing pipelines or systems. It has a Cv rating of 4.7 this makes it indicates that the valve can pass a larger flow rate than the valve with a small Cv rating. ”2 way” means that this valve is capable of controlling the flow in forward and backward directions. A ball valve acts like a ball strut with a hole in it and rotates to open or close the passage.
