The Carrier EA52PH061 is an indoor piston built precisely for Carrier air conditioners only. A part within the indoor unit that controls the flow of refrigerant during cooling. This flat rectangular piston is nearly 4.2 inches long, 8.4 inches wide, and 1 inch in height. This works by oscillating back and forth within a cylinder allowing the expansion of refrigerant vapor within the indoor unit of your air conditioner. When the cooler refrigerant enters the indoor unit it is regulated by the piston to flow through the evaporator coil. This enables the refrigerant to take heat from your indoor air thus cooling it.
