Description
The Johnson Controls TE-636GV-2 is a duct probe temperature sensor that is applied within HVAC systems. It is installed right into the air ducts to provide an optimum measurement of air temperature. The sensor is easy to install and has a flange mount while the probe is 4 inches long to ensure the right temperature is collected from the duct. It employs a 10K-2 thermistor – a resistor whose resistance varies with temperature change. By measuring the resistance, the sensor is able to convert it into a temperature value and send it to a suitable HVAC control system.
