Description
The Trane SWT2512 is a Pressure Switch made exclusively for use with Trane HVAC equipment such as furnaces and air conditioners. It utilizes a small internal diaphragm for pressure fluctuation detection within the system. In this case, the prest set point is at 1.04” of the water column and the switch creates an on/off electrical signal at the pressure point. This sign is received by the control board of the furnace or air conditioner, and it is caused by way of a change in pressure it might turn on a fan or turn off the system due to high pressure that can damage it.
